Some lifetime best performances at the 2013 Canada Games in Sherbrooke led to places on the podium for McGill's Scott Hancock and Rahim Noormohamed.
Hancock had an impressive series in the triple jump going over 14.22m on every attempt. His final leap of the competition measured 14.75m and earned him a bronze medal. The Redman also placed 9th in the final of the long jump at 6.42m.
Rahim Noomohamed would also set a personal best in the pole vault competition. His first attempt clearance of 4.35m earned him a third place spot on the podium and some hardware around his neck. McGill teammate Riley Van Ryswyk cleared a height of 4.20m to finish in the fourth spot.
Other top McGill students in Sherbrooke included: Dylan Golow with a 6th place in the decathlon totaling 5948 points & Caroline Tanguay placing 4th in the high jump at 1.70m and 8th in the pole vault at 3.20m.
